I love family photoshoots. I get to capture folks with the people they feel most comfortable being around. We get some moments of quiet comfort, and a lot of chaos. But that’s real life! And nothing can be better than capturing a beautiful couple or family with Portland, OR as a backdrop. The Pacific Northwest may get a bad reputation for rainy season, but we all know this lush green city of bridges can’t be beat.
Most families start off their photography session with a series of warnings: they don’t like being in front of the camera, the kids are wild, and there’s no way to get everyone paying attention at the same time. But that’s why you hire a professional!
I make sure to get everyone cozy and at ease so we just see your true selves in the images. And, yes, there are always some photos where everyone is looking at the camera!
